Fun? at the Wild Animal Park

So, we went to the Wild Animal Park on Saturday. We got there around noon, ate lunch and started our day. Then we went past the duck pond where they have these lilly pads that the kids can jump on. Well, Mason was holding McKenzie so she wouldn't fall in the water; and Brayden's been on these things a thousand times before so no worries, right? Wrong! He fell in the water (which is about up to his knees) and got completely soaked! He was so upset. He had to take off his shirt, shoes and socks. We gave him the option to go home, but he said he wanted to stay despite the wet pants. He smelled like a flamingo -- yuck! So, poor smelly Brayden had to ride on the back of my wheelchair all day because I didn't want him to hurt his bare feet. Thank goodness it was a nice warm day and we had a jacket for later. I did take pitty on him around 4 o'clock and bought him a pair of socks so his feet wouldn't freeze.

Anyway, we had fun overall.
