Out of the Mouths of Babes

So, I went to pick up Brayden from preschool today and as I'm gathering his stuff to go his teacher says, "Brayden is so funny! He told us a story today...."

They were singing this song about a turtle....if you remember the song about the little sister who drank up all the water and ate up all the soap in the bathtub it is something like that:

"I had a little turtle, his name was Tiny Tim,
I put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim.
He drank up all the water, he ate up all the soap,
and now he's sick in bed...with bubbles in his throat...."

So, Brayden raises his hand and tells his teacher that when his mommy was 1, she ate the soap. The bubbles made her tummy get big because there was a baby in there -- and then his sister was born!

Oh, the things they think up! Wow! What's next?!

"Hoppy" Easter

On Easter Sunday, we went to Church with the Wilcken family. We stayed for sacrament meeting, then I snapped some Easter pictures of the kids outside the Church.

Later, we went over to the Wilcken's for our annual Easter dinner and Easter Egg Hunt. The kids played outside and enjoyed hunting for ALL the eggs! Overall, I think we had over 20 people at the party and LOADS of fun.

Happy Happy Birthday McKenzie!!!

Monday the 24th was McKenzie's 2nd birthday! On Saturday (the day before Easter), we went to Santee Lakes for the Easter Eggstravaganza and had a birthday party afterwords. The kids had a blast hunting for eggs and dancing to the DJ's music. They had contests and they got a bag of Baked Lays for everything the kids participated in. If I had known that we were going to end up with that many chips, I never would have bought chips and dip for the party!

While we were there, I lost my purse....that really sucked! We looked everywhere, but to no avail. Then on Monday morning, one of my coworkers called and starts leaving a message on the answering machine, "Christina, I'm not calling you into work early....." Apparently, someone turned it into Community Services and they found my work ID. So they called Hemet PD and found me! Thank goodness for honest people! I am SO thankful! By the way, thanks to Augustina for keeping my sanity and always being there when I need you!

Anyway, it was great to see our friends and family all together again.

Legoland

Last Monday we went to Legoland with Mom and Evan. The boys had so much fun! I haven't been there in a long time...I forgot how much water they had there!!!! There are water play places in, like, three different areas. Plus there is a pirate ride that you get completely soaked on! Anyway, here are some pics from Legoland:

After Legoland, we went to Souplantation for dinner. Brayden and Evan got a hold of the camera and decided to start taking pictures. They were so cute, I decided to put together a slide show of their adventures....Evan took some pretty good pictures; Brayden's would be the one's with some body parts cut off.....
